Gas Desulfurization
Gas Desulfurization includes the treatment of flue gas from coal-fired power plants, stationary coal- and oil-fired combustion units, as well as waste boilers, cement, and lime kilns, petroleum refineries, metal smelters, and glass furnaces. SO2 scrubbers can be adapted to combustion units firing oil and coal ranging from 5 MW to over 1,500 MW, while spray scrubbers and dry scrubbers are generally used to units smaller than 300 MW.
The procedures used vary depending on the amount of SO2 involved, the solution used to absorb the SO2, and the special equipment used in the absorption tower.
The functioning conditions within a scrubber and the accompanying installations are very harsh and cause corrosion problems for common engineering materials. Whether your location needs a new installation of an FGD scrubber system as per Indian standards or an inspection or service of current FGD Scrubber Stack elements, you can count on AA&tTto meet your requirements.
